You will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi to start the three-day Maasai Mara safari tour with a drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley view point to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will have a stop at the Narok Masai town for hot lunch later driving to arrive at the camp in time for afternoon game viewing.This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the big five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino). Lunch at the lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses in the world. Large mammals are varied and easy to see. Residents of the park are Maasai giraffe, buffalo, eland, and thousands of plains game including impala, zebra, topi, as well as both Thomson’s and grants gazelles. Overnight at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.
