On the first day of your journey, we'll pick you up from your Arusha hotel in the morning and set out for Tarangire National Park. This park is renowned for its remarkable elephant populations that traverse the Tarangire River. While here, you may also encounter various plains game and elusive big cats such as lions and leopards. What makes Tarangire truly unique are the imposing baobab trees, some of which are around 300 years old. After an exciting day of wildlife watching, we'll take you to your lodge in Karatu, located approximately two hours away from Tarangire National Park.
