Join us on a biking adventure that goes beyond the ordinary. Let's delve into the enigmatic world of vines, indulge in wine tastings with the vintners themselves, and unravel the stories, decision-making processes, and distinctive individual styles of winemakers.
Embark on a two-day cycling escapade and explore the renowned wine region of Dealu Mare from Romania. This experience promises not only cycling enjoyment but also ample opportunities for social interactions, fun moments, and scenic stops. Immerse yourself in the local culture and heritage, making every pedal stroke a delightful exploration of the rich tapestry of this famous wine-producing region.

The journey commences from either Crama 1777, the historic Romanian wine museum, or Bellu Manor, a charming representation of Neo Romanian architecture. This marks the starting point for an exhilarating 35-40 km off-and-on-road adventure through the scenic wine country. Along the way, a delightful pause awaits at Davino or SERVE wineries in Ceptura for an enriching tasting session.
The cycling tour then continues to Apogeum Winery, renowned for aging the local red wine variety, Feteasca Neagra, in clay amphoras. Here, indulge in a captivating wine tasting and pairing experience, unraveling the tales behind Apogeum Manor, once the residence of Nicolae, brother of the Romanian King Carol II and nephew of the last Romanian King, Mihai 1st.
The overnight stay is arranged in the charming Tohani area.
Bike Tour: 35-40 km off and on-road biking, 500-600 m elevation
Activities: Wine tasting at SERVE boutique winery (or similar) and another winery from Tohani
