نظرة عامة على الرحلة
Welcome to Romania, a land where picturesque landscapes and enchanting villages unveil a captivating history steeped in conquest and intrigue. From the breathtaking Saxon villages of Transylvania to the majestic Carpathian mountain ridges, and the renowned potency of Țuică (the national drink), embrace the opportunity to immerse yourself in all things Romanian as you embark on an unforgettable journey.
Nestled at the foothills of the Piatra Craiului ridge, the villages of Dâmbovicioara, Ciocanu, Sirnea, Fundata, and Peștera proudly uphold age-old traditions, providing an idyllic backdrop for hiking and mountain biking trails. We propose an exhilarating 2-3 day journey featuring medium-difficulty mountain bike routes spanning between 25 and 55 km per day, with an elevation gain of 600 to 1300 m. These routes are exclusively suited for MTB and EMTB bikes.
For the last two days, we invite you to discover the Saxon Transylvanian highlands. Traverse historic architecture preserved since the Middle Ages, visit UNESCO World Heritage fortified churches, explore remote villages, and experience the charm of the small city of Sighisoara, a UNESCO heritage site. The landscape unfolds as a mosaic of oak and beech forests, lush meadows, and pastures. The small Transylvanian villages, centered around fortified churches, continue to maintain the same level of civilization, offering a unique and timeless experience.
