One day trip to the largest city in the north of Albania and the famous city of Shkodra. A short 1-day adventure in which we will have the opportunity to learn a lot about the culture and history of Albania by getting to know 2 of the most important forts, their impressive landscapes and enjoying a lunch prepared in detail at the Mrizi i Zanave Restaurant. We leave early in the morning where we continue the road to Shkoder, visiting the Castle, the Main Pedestrian Area (dating back at 1800) and Lake of Shkoder (the lake with the largest surface in the Balkans). Shkodra is one of the oldest cities in Albania and at the same time the largest city in the north of the country. It's castle is the largest castle in Albania and also carries the legend of Rozafa. Shkodra also has 3 large rivers that cross at the entrance of the city, creating a wonderful view from the castle. More than 270 different species live in Shkodra Lake , creating a real oasis of nature. After Shkodra visits it's time for Lunch at the famous restaurant Mrizi i Zanave. Traditional food with a dedicated farm only for the visitors of the restaurant. On the way back, we stop a the famous Lezha Castle, the castle where our National Hero Skenderbeg created the first ever Albanian State, The League of Lezha dating back in 1444. Visit to the castle , Museum and enjoy the amazing panorama of Adriatic Coast.Visits in the famous memorial down in the city and also old Churches of Lezha. In the evening we return to Tirana The end of the journey.
