Depart Darwin in the morning and travel into Kakadu National Park, entering one of Australia’s most significant World Heritage-listed regions. Begin with a Corroboree Billabong cruise, where you’ll glide through wetlands filled with saltwater crocodiles and an impressive variety of birdlife.
Continue to the East Alligator River area for wildlife spotting before visiting Ubirr, one of Kakadu’s most important Aboriginal rock art sites. Explore ancient galleries with your guide, learning about their cultural significance, then climb to the escarpment for sweeping views across the Nardab floodplains and Arnhem Land.
