Khopra Danda Trekking For 11 Days

Khopra is a ridge that goes towards the towering Annapurna range through the jungle, right next to Annapurna Himalaya Range. Thus trekking is famous as Khopra Danda trekking, as Danda translates to ridge. Khopra danda is a new destination in Annapurna Himalaya, near poonhill.

In the recent past; Khopra danda top used to be a yak farm spot in history. As yak sheds used to migrate from one place to another place in search of food, khopra danda used to be a spring shed for yaks. You still can see yak on the trail. Yak are mountain cows with long fur and funny/lovely horns. Caution! The horns of yaks are dangerous.
