نظرة عامة على الرحلة
The Great Glen Cycle Way is a Scottish coast-to-coast route that largely follows the walking route of the Great Glen Way National Trail (also in our portfolio), but has a different route around Loch Oich to the walkers. The route is approximately 129km long and starts in Fort William, close to Ben Nevis (the UK's highest mountain). It runs along the banks of the famous Loch Ness and ends in Inverness, the northernmost city in Scotland and the "capital of the Highlands". Most of the route is on easy canal and forest paths, but there are also some more challenging sections on gravel fire roads and single-track paths. Some of the hills are quite steep and it may be a good idea to dismount, walk and admire the views on these sections.

خط السير يومًا بيوم
Make your own way to Fort William. Only traces remain of the original fort, which was built to keep the feared Highlanders at bay. Today, the town is the 'Chamonix' of Scotland with a variety of outdoor stores, cafes, bookshops and bars to keep you entertained. If you have an extra night and are an experienced hill walker, you can climb Ben Nevis or take a boat trip to Seal Island to watch the grey seals loitering there.
