You’ll then board traditional dugout canoes or a motorized pirogue and begin cruising south along the Sangha River. Lush rainforest lines both sides, and you’ll pass occasional small fishing camps and hear howler monkeys echoing through the trees. Set up camp on a sandbank or forest edge.
