نظرة عامة على الرحلة
Who likes to stand in the freezing cold of the polar nights while waiting for the Northern Lights?
From your glass igloo, you can watch the bright green glow of the Northern Lights dance across the clear sky while you are snuggled up in your blanket.
The Arctic Igloo Village is located 250 km north of the Arctic Circle and is one of the best places in the world to observe the Northern Lights. It is located on the edge of the remote Finnish wilderness, on the Arctic Ocean Road, just a stone's throw from one of Finland's largest national parks, Urho Kekkonen National Park.
Explore the area during the day. There are a huge number of activities (see below).
The area has been inhabited by the Sami people for over a hundred years and is one of the most untouched areas in the world. You can drink the pure water directly from the fell rivers and lakes and the fresh air will do you good.
The Northern Lights are visible from the last week of August to the last week of April, but, like the activities, they are weather-dependent.
The resort has been designed with a great deal of love for the solitude and unspoilt nature of Lapland. Nature and Lapland are always present. The igloos and cabins are located in the middle of nature, yet all restaurants and other services are within walking distance. And since you are in Finland, there is of course a sauna and a fireplace in every accommodation. In addition, all accommodations are equipped with a Northern Lights alarm and 4G WI-FI. Smoking is prohibited. You can buy snacks and drinks at the reception.
